{"id":4535,"date":"2020-08-28T21:57:08","date_gmt":"2020-08-28T21:57:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.luksicscholars.org\/?post_type=ls-admin-announce&#038;p=4535"},"modified":"2020-09-18T15:04:34","modified_gmt":"2020-09-18T15:04:34","slug":"new-scholarship-fund-for-postgraduate-studies-at-the-london-school-of-economics","status":"publish","type":"ls-admin-announce","link":"https:\/\/www.luksicscholars.org\/en\/admin-announcement\/new-scholarship-fund-for-postgraduate-studies-at-the-london-school-of-economics\/","title":{"rendered":"New scholarship fund for postgraduate studies at the London School of Economics"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><span class=\"ls-force-justify\">Dear Luksic Scholars:&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"ls-force-justify\">As this community continues to grow, it\u2019s with our pleasure to announce the creation of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.luksicscholars.org\/en\/program\/london-school-of-economics-and-political-science-luksic-scholars-program\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a new scholarship fund<\/a> at one of the most esteemed universities in the United Kingdom: the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"ls-force-justify\">This fund, intended for Chilean students admitted to the School of Public Policy of the LSE, whether in the Master of Public Administration (MPA) or the Master of Public Policy (MPP), will provide financial aid for up to 10 beneficiaries per year. The program is for this year and next.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"ls-force-justify\">Both master\u2019s programs have a special focus on public policy and administration, taking into consideration a global perspective and placing emphasis on training professionals in applied economics, statistics and quantitative methods, political science, political philosophy, and other social sciences.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"ls-force-justify\">LSE is in the stage of defining its candidates. The university is in charge of the admissions of its students and the distribution of financial aid, and these decisions are made exclusively and independently after the evaluation of each case since it\u2019s a needs-based award. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"ls-force-justify\">With this new scholarship fund, Luksic Scholars Foundation has now consolidated 20 programs to date that offer study opportunities for outstanding students and professionals just like you.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"ls-force-justify\">We hope to continue providing you, Luksic Scholars, as well as future Scholars, with opportunities such as these; all with the aim of continuing to foster leadership and contribute to the development of individuals.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>You can find specific information about this program <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.luksicscholars.org\/en\/program\/london-school-of-economics-and-political-science-luksic-scholars-program\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a><strong>.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Luksic Scholars:&nbsp; As this community continues to grow, it\u2019s with our pleasure to announce the creation of a new scholarship fund at one of the most esteemed universities in the United Kingdom: the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
